Award Day Information

MMPC Award Day will be on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Saginaw Valley State University. Gathering and talks will be held in the Regional Education Center (#35 on SVSU's map).

The schedule is as follows:

2:00pm: Gathering and talks will be held in the Ott Auditorium at the Regional Education Center (#35 on the map), Saginaw Valley State University.

2:20pm: Welcome, Hasan Al-Halees, MMPC Director

2:30pm: 1st Talk; "Energy Methods for Energy Conversion: Life is about flowing down hill", Professor Keith s. Promislow, Department of Mathematics, Michigan State University.

3:30pm: Break 2nd Talk:

4:00pm: 2nd Talk; Mathematics: what, why and how?, Professor Lizhen Ji, Department of Mathematics, University of Michigan.

5:00pm Adjourn
